Tasting the World’s Most Expensive 0.0% Sparkling Cuvée

French Bloom’s La Cuvée has emerged as one of the most ambitious expressions in the 0.0% sparkling category. Priced at more than £100 a bottle, it was created to deliver the depth, complexity and sense of occasion expected from an exceptional cuvée.

French Bloom was founded by Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger and Constance Jablonski, with Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger leading the Maison’s technical vision. As the brand developed, the founders discovered that its audience extended far beyond the consumers they had originally imagined. Many are people who simply choose to alternate more consciously while still expecting the same level of quality, ritual and sophistication from what they drink.

La Cuvée Vintage Blanc de Blancs was created with those expectations in mind. Crafted from organic Chardonnay grown in the Languedoc, it is produced only in selected years and developed with particular attention to structure, aromatic complexity and length. French oak, no added sulfites and a precise final blend all contribute to its distinctive profile.

Its deep golden colour, with subtle copper reflections, immediately signals the richness of the expression. On the nose, La Cuvée reveals notes of dried apricot, caramelised nuts, beeswax, honey, brioche and prune. On the palate, bright acidity meets a creamy texture and fine bubbles, leading into an exceptionally long finish.

For French Bloom, the ambition behind La Cuvée goes beyond category conventions. It is about creating a premium 0.0% sparkling cuvée defined by complexity, pleasure, texture, length and emotion.

That vision has made La Cuvée one of the clearest expressions of French Bloom’s belief that 0.0% belongs naturally at the highest level of gastronomy and celebration.
